An increase in temperature by 20ºC will reduce the heating power by 10%, and with further heating, the power will still be significantly reduced as the temperature inside the vehicle increases. The Termini car heater is equipped with an automatic protection against overheating. The well thought-over and proven design of Termini ™ car heaters makes them behave as if they had expensive, intelligent electronics built into them. Meanwhile, DEFA, on the basis of several decades of experience, used only very precisely selected and properly built-in PTC heating elements (with a positive temperature coefficient).

This solution allows to effectively control the heating power of the device depending on the temperature inside. This means that the interior heater works at full power when the car is freezing cold, and then as the temperature rises, it reduces its power enough not to overheat the interior, while also reducing electricity consumption.
