800 series motor heater for 423807 from DEFA
800 series motor heaters supplied by DEFA company are suitable for liquid and air cooled engines with low or high coolant capacity. Our range includes engine heaters for passenger cars, vans, trucks, agricultural tractors and stationary engines. There are nine series of heaters differentiated according to the way they are installed. The 800 series heater, number 423807, is installed on the oil pan of passenger cars. The product includes all the necessary mounting accessories.
The product is protected by a fusible link which burns out when the temperature rises excessively.
The optimal operating time depends on the outside temperature. After 3 hours at -17°C, the system reaches a thermal equilibrium, which means that the energy supplied after this time is only to maintain temperature. The extra heat is emitted to the outside. The DEFA 800 Series Motor Heater can remain connected to the power source without risking damage to the heating element, however this will only result in unnecessary electricity consumption.
